 I am from West Monroe, Louisiana. I joined the service in 1972, during the Vietnam Conflict
and worked as an Electronics Technician for 20 years before retiring and moving to
the Pensacola, Florida area in 1994. 8 years of my service time was as a "C" school
advanced electronics Instructor teaching equipment repair down to the component
level.
My computer hobby started during this period of my life when I purchased my first
commercially available IBM PC system. They didn't even have
hard drives in them yet. As the computer technology grew, so did my love of this
hobby. I built my own systems as time went by and started doing the same for
friends and co-workers on base as well as doing most of the repairs in my
organizations in the service both at the school and onboard my ship between
instructor tours.
As retirement grew near, I decided to continue working in the
computer repair field and therefore opened my business here in Pensacola, Florida during the month of February in
1994. "Karl's Mobile Computer Service & Repair" is the full name of my business but
I just call it Karl's Computer Service. I build custom computers for whatever tasks
you need to do with your system. I do hardware repairs on any computer system as
well as software services and installations. Windows Networking rather it be wired or
wireless is not a problem. I also specialize in Virus and Malware removal. Afterwards I install added protection
to try and prevent further problems.
I bring my business to your home or office so you
don't have to worry about damaging your equipment further and you don't have to put it back
together after the repairs. My idea of a completed job is when you are satified
with my work!
